Dogs in weddings

Confession: I grew up a cat person. But my wife and greyhound beat it out of me. These days our dog is a huge part of my life, and I know its the same for a lot of brides I photograph.

Most of the time they don’t get an invite to the ceremony though, so it’s pretty important for me to be able to spend some time in the morning running around with the dog getting some nice pics of him/her. I love dog photos that capture the character of the individual.

Perhaps you should now look at some wedding photos with people in them?

KANGAROO ISLAND

JULIE & DAVE

As intimate as a wedding can be. Five people including the couple and myself on the untouched landscape of Kangaroo Island. Bonus: We collectively held our breath during a near-miss with getting bogged on the beach.

COUNTRY VICTORIA

MARTINA & BRENDAN

This couple loved hiking in the grampians so much they decided to get married in front of them. Beautiful country wedding. Bonus: They had lofty aspirations of climbing a mountain the morning-after. It didn’t happen.
