KANGAROO ISLAND WEDDINGS

Kangaroo Island is one of my favourite wedding photography destinations. It’s easy to get to, beautiful to visit, and even better to photograph. With its incredible scenery and amazing wilderness, I’m a huge fan of Kangaroo Island Wedding Photography.

If you are having your wedding in Kangaroo Island and would like to have me as your wedding photographer, please contact me to discuss the possibility. I won’t charge anything for travel time and may even split the travel costs with you.

I offer the same package I offer clients from any destination, which includes all day and all night coverage, all your photos on USB and a gorgeous hard cover book. You can read more about it on the package page. The only difference is that we do need to consider travel costs. Please contact me to discuss this.

I have never shot a wedding (including Kangaroo Island weddings) where I haven’t met the couple beforehand. Usually, I would meet with a couple twice before the wedding day (read about the normal process under ‘Will we meet you before the wedding?’ on the FAQ page). I find most couples getting married in Kangaroo Island come to Adelaide at least once before the wedding, and if this is the case, I will be as flexible as possible in meeting with you when you are available. If you won’t be in Adelaide anytime before the wedding though, we can have the equivalent of the first meeting over Skype, phone, or even email. For the second meeting, I will arrive in Kangaroo Island a day or two before your wedding, to give us an opportunity to catch up and go through photography locations, as well as the other details of the day.

Yes! Because it is a simple matter to take my car on the ferry to Kangaroo Island rather than flying, I don’t have to worry about the weight of my photography gear. This means I can bring the photo booth over without any additional hassle or cost.

The most recent KI wedding I’ve photographed was Julie & Dave’s lovely intimate day at Southern Ocean Lodge. Enjoy a small selection of their photos below!

ADELAIDE HILLS

CLEMENTINE & JACK

A beautiful day in the Adelaide Hills with an abundance of love and tears. It was an honour to be a part of. Bonus: The groomsman got a little inebriated and forcibly took control of the drum kit.

DOGS IN WEDDINGS

LOTS OF THEM

Confession: I grew up a cat person. But my wife and greyhound beat it out of me. Hot tip: If you’re worried about your dog destroying your wedding dress, in my experience it’s the babies you need to watch out for…

COASTAL SOUTH AUSTRALIA

HAYLEY & JESSE

Starting with an early surf with the dog, we cruised through the day and ended with a super relaxed reception by the pool. Bonus: Best moustache I’ve ever seen on a father-of-the-bride. Maybe the best moustache ever.
